Rains cause football teams to move practices, help teammates in need
SALADO — By the time Salado head coach Glenn Talbott arrived Wednesday morning, the water had receded from the home of quarterback Koby Spears.
Nevertheless, the damage caused by the remnants of Tropical Storm Hermine was done.
"It was totaled, like up to three feet of water in there," Talbott said.
Uniting around its devastated community, the Eagles turned a day off from school into a busy work day.
