At Liberty Hill, Austin Adams scored 16 points, but the eighth-ranked Panthers put to rest the Eagles' hope for an upset by outscoring Salado 21-5 in the third quarter.

Brandon Womac scored 10 for Salado (17-13, 3-4 25-3A) and Jada Kornegay and Koby Spears each added nine.
