Ellison 55, Belton 32 — At Belton, already assured a playoff spot, the Lady Eagles outscored the host Tigers 18-11 in the second to pull away.
With four players scoring at least eight points, led with 10 from junior post Alayshia Hunter, District 12-5A leading Ellison (26-6, 10-2) will now look to lock up the district title Friday against second-place Temple.
Meghan Braeuer led Belton (9-23, 1-11), which scored just 11 points in the second half, with 14 points.
